Design & Collaboration

The renovation was carefully designed to align the guest suite with the architectural and material standards established throughout the residence. Particular attention was given to maintaining continuity with the home’s restored mid-century character, including preservation of the original terrazzo flooring and the restrained material palette.

A newly enclosed portion of the home introduced clerestory windows that bring natural light deep into the interior, allowing the newly created hallway and adjacent spaces to remain bright and connected to the surrounding environment.

Execution & Key Elements

Execution required a high level of precision to integrate new construction seamlessly within the existing structure. Detailed tile work, custom finishes, and careful material transitions were central to the renovation, ensuring that updated spaces felt consistent with the architecture of the home rather than additive to it.

The project also involved upgrading the guest suite to match the level of refinement and detailing present throughout the residence.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive and carefully resolved interior renovation that respects the home’s mid-century origins while improving livability, light quality, and spatial continuity.
