Design & Collaboration
Developed in partnership with the interior design and interior architecture team at The Thompson Collaborative, the renovation sought to modernize the residence while maintaining a sense of restraint, precision, and continuity throughout the interior environment.
The design emphasized clean material transitions, controlled lighting, and a highly detailed finish palette, integrating custom lacquered doors, bespoke millwork, and upgraded architectural elements into a cohesive composition.
Execution & Key Elements
The scope involved a comprehensive interior renovation including demolition of existing millwork, flooring, wall finishes, plumbing fixtures, and architectural detailing, followed by installation of new wood flooring, custom cabinetry, pocket doors, upgraded lighting systems, and refined finish materials throughout.
Additional upgrades included modernized air conditioning systems, integrated air purification and water purification systems, and extensive coordination of lighting and electrical systems within the existing building infrastructure.
Execution required disciplined management of condominium logistics, including elevator-only access, coordination with building operations, material handling restrictions, and strict sequencing requirements typical of occupied luxury high-rise construction.
Particular attention was given to finish quality and detailing, including custom millwork fabrication, high-polish surfaces, tile and stone installation standards, and alignment between architectural detailing and building systems.
Outcome
The result is a carefully resolved penthouse residence that balances contemporary refinement with technical precision—delivering a modernized living environment executed to a highly detailed standard within the framework of an existing luxury tower.
