Design & Collaboration

The design centered on creating a series of complementary outdoor structures that function together as an extension of the residence while maintaining a sense of openness across the property.

Careful consideration was given to circulation, proportion, and the relationship between built elements and the surrounding landscape. The detached pool house and covered entertaining areas were organized to support gathering, recreation, and long-term usability while reinforcing the relaxed character of the Panther Ridge setting.

Execution & Key Elements

Execution required coordination of multiple detached structures, utility systems, and site improvements across the property. The scope included construction of the new pool house, covered BBQ and dining pavilion, gazebo installation, relocation of existing pool equipment, and integration of new electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and lighting systems.

Structural work incorporated slab-on-grade foundations, reinforced masonry construction, and engineered wood framing designed to comply with Florida coastal wind-load requirements.

Particular attention was given to sequencing, utility coordination, and integration of the new structures into the existing residential environment while maintaining consistency in detailing and material transitions throughout the project.

Outcome

The result is a highly functional and carefully integrated outdoor living environment that expands the usability of the property while balancing recreation, entertaining, and architectural continuity.
