Design & Collaboration

The design draws from Spanish Mission architecture, layered with Indian and Asian influences to create a distinct yet cohesive architectural language. Careful attention was given to proportion, materiality, and spatial flow, resulting in a home that feels both grounded and refined.

Set on a 27,805 square foot lot (approximately 0.64 acres), the nearly 3,000 square foot residence was planned to maximize both indoor livability and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Execution & Key Elements

Execution required careful coordination of architectural detailing and material transitions to maintain consistency across a diverse set of design influences. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath program was organized to support both daily living and long-term comfort, with an emphasis on durability and thoughtful construction.

Outcome

The result is a highly considered residence that reflects the client’s sensibility and the architect’s vision—bringing together multiple influences into a unified and enduring home.
